FREE YOURSELF FROM GREED

MESSAGE: 

“But Godliness with contentment is great gain" 1 TIMOTHY 6:6-10

Greed Is commonly recognized as one of the deadly sins that plague mankind. It is defined as “reprehensible acquisitiveness; insatiable desire for wealth” by Online English Dictionary. Greed has its root in covetousness, that is, the wrongful desire for what belongs to others. It drives a person to an excessive desire to acquire or possess more than the person needs or deserves.

What makes people steal public funds is greed.

It is greed that makes a man to set aside his own wife, or, a woman - her own husband, and run after another.
Greed destroys a destiny, nation, family and ministry. The devil uses it to send so many to hell fire untimely. The Scripture warns in Colossians 3:5, “Put to death therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, Uncleanness, passion, evil desire and covetousness, which is idolatry"

Don't get caught in the web of greed. A life free of greed is a Beautiful one.

You will turn into a blessing to your generation; and honour wiil surround your life if you live a life devoid of greed. Being happy and thankful for the little you have is an antidote to greed and covetousness.
