HOW DO YOU TREAT GOD? MATTHEW 22:29; DAN 11 : 32b

HOW DO YOU TREAT GOD? MATTHEW 22:29; DAN 11 : 32b

INTRODUCTION:
  1. People treat God in many ways base on their philosophy about God.
  2. Some who build a correct and good philosophy about God always treat Him as GOD and call Him names which indicate their dealings with Him.
  3. Some others who built wrong ideas or philosophy about GOD treat as DOG.
OUR PHILOSOPHY ABOUT GOD INFLUENCES YOUR TREATMENT OF HIM
WHEN YOU KNOW HIM AS DOG
  1. You will always keep Him outside your door to keep watch over you. “… I stand at the door and knock…” Jesus cried in Revelation 3:20
  2. Because you did not allow Him inside your heart, that is why you feed Him as DOG.
  3. He feeds on your rejected or non-bones. That is rejected and modulated money; none or rejected time. Rejected or nothing at all. You are not even bordered or concerned because to you God is your GOD is your WATCH DOG.
  4. Cain treated God as Dog.
  5. Because you consider God as Dog that is why you don’t come closer to Him for any reason. He is the one who always likes to come closer to you.
  6. You keep away from yourself and from your belongings.
  7. Sometimes, you end up as a Sunday worshipper, no weekly activity.
  8. Sometimes you absent yourself from the Sunday services to attract attention or follow up visitation. How do you treat God?
WHEN YOU KNOW HIM AS GOD
  1. Your philosophy about god will always be right.
  2. You will not make mistake on how you treat Him and His things
  3. You will do exploits “… for they that know their God must do exploits (Dan. 11:32b)”
DUE TO YOUR RIGHT CONCEPT YOU ABOUT GOD, YOU WILL EVER KNOW AND IDENTIFY GOD AS:
  1. Creator (Elohim): He created you, knows you and is much concerned about you. When you know Him as such, it will help you to trust Him confidently (Gen. 1:1; Psalms 37:3-8).
  2. Jehovah – Jireh (The Great Provider): You will confidently know that He is able to supply your needs according to His riches in glory ( Gen 22:8-14; Philip. 4:19)
  3. Jehovah Rapha (The great healer): He who heals all your sicknesses and diseases. You will relax because “He borne (carried) all our sicknesses and diseases (Isaiah 53:4-5)”
  4. Jehovah – Nisi (Jehovah our banner): When you know Him as such, you will always relax, knowing that the battle is not yours, but God’s own battle (Exo. 17:15; 15:15; 14:13-14)
  1. Jehovah – Shalom (Jehovah our peace): Jesus said, “… my peace I give unto you not as the world give”
