ABIDING IN CHRIST (John 15:1 - 10)

ABIDING IN CHRIST

(John 15:1 - 10)

Abiding In Christ Results In Spiritual Fruitfulness

“Remain in me, and I will remain in you. For a branch cannot produce fruit if it is severed from the vine, and you cannot be fruitful apart from me “Yes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing” (John 15:4-5 NLT).

Abiding In Christ Results In Answered Prayer

But if you stay joined to me and my words remain in you, you may ask any request you like, and it will be granted! (John 15:7 NLT)

Abiding In Christ Results to Peace In The Storm of Life

I have told you all this so that you may have peace in me. Here on earth you will have many trials and sorrows. But take heart, because I have overcome the world (John 16:33 NLT).

Abiding In Christ Results In New Life

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. (2 Cor 5:17 NKJV)

Abiding In Christ Results In Robe of Righteousness

“and be found in Him, not having my own righteousness, which is from the law, but that which is through faith in Christ, the righteousness which is from God by faith” (Phil 3:9 NKJV).

Abiding In Christ Results In Abiding In The Love of Jesus Christ

“When you obey me, you remain in my love, just as I obey my Father and remain in his love” (John 15:10 NLT).

Abiding in Christ Results Walking in Holiness in anticipation of Christ’s Appearance

"Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father's house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to myself; that where I am, there you may be also (John 14:1-3 NLT).
“He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked”. “And now, little children, abide in Him, that when He appears, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him at His coming” (1 John 2:6, 28 NKJV)

Abiding In Christ Results In Abstinence of Sinful Life

“Whoever abides in Him does not sin. Whoever sins has neither seen Him nor known Him” (1 John 3:6 NKJV)
“Whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son” (2 John 9 NKJV).
