UNIQUENESS OF GENUINE CHRISTIANITY

INTRODUCTION

In the introduction of this post I need to define the topic as a foundation of that can carry the post’s weight. The topic has three major keywords as pillars.

Definition

“UNIQUENESS” meaning “characteristics, individuality, self, character, personality” “character” can further have these synonyms “temperament makeup integrity reputation quality nature temperament disposition moral fiber”.

“GENUINE” have these synonyms sincere, real, indisputable, unadulterated, legitimate, honest, frank, and open”

‘CHRISTIANITY’ means person or persons who accept the principles of Jesus Christ’s life and philosophy. People who practice Jesus Christ’s way of life, they are photocopies of Christ. They do all thins as Christ. So, the word is a noun from an adjectival term “Christian” meaning “like-Christ”. The adjective is formed from the proper noun “Christ” which means “anything that has to do with Christ”.

Now the post is through with the keywords, let us read on to know the characteristics, uniqueness of a genuine, sincere Christian.

A New Birth (Regeneration, Born Again) is the First Essential Character, Uniqueness of Christianity:

“Jesus answered, "Most assuredly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God” (John 3:5 NKJV).

When There Is Birth, There Is Need For Growth: “but grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be the glory both now and forever. Amen (2 Peter 3:18 NKJV).

As You Grow, There Is Need For A New Dress: “I will greatly rejoice in the LORD, My soul shall be joyful in my God; For He has clothed me with the garments of salvation, He has covered me with the robe of righteousness, As a bridegroom decks himself with ornaments, And as a bride adorns herself with her jewels (Isa 61:10 NKJV).

As You Are Clothed With A New There Is Need For A Radiant Life: Build on the Rock (Luke 6:47-49):

"Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: (Matt 7:24 NKJV).

As You Shine For Jesus Christ, There Is Need For Fellowship:

“And they said to one another, "Did not our heart burn within us while He talked with us on the road, and while He opened the Scriptures to us?" (Luke 24:32 NKJV) “for your fellowship in furtherance of the gospel from the first day until now’ (Phil 1:5 ASV) “but if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanseth us from all sin” (1 John 1:7 ASV). “God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord” (1 Corinth 1:9 KJV). “But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin (1 John 1:7 KJV).

You Have Every Right of Son-ship: “But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name” (John 1:12 NKJV).

Son-ship Through the Spirit:

“Therefore, brethren, we are debtors — not to the flesh, to live according to the flesh. ‘For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. ‘For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God. ‘For you did not receive the spirit of bondage again to fear, but you received the Spirit of adoption by whom we cry out,"Abba, Father." ‘The Spirit Himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God, ‘and if children, then heirs — heirs of God and joint heirs with Christ, if indeed we suffer with Him, that we may also be glorified together” (Rom 8:12-17 NKJV).

There Is Need for Education:

The Truth Shall Make You Free:

“Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, ‘If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. ‘And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." (John 8:31-32 NKJV).

There Is Need for Character Building:

Build on the Rock (Luke 6:47-49): "Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock (Matt 7:24 NKJV).

There Is Need for Service:

“I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable to God, (which is) your spiritual service” (Rom 12:1 ASV). “Let them do well, that they be rich in good works, ready to give, willing to share,” (1 Tim 6:18 NKJV).

There Is Need For Walk:

“As you therefore have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him” (Col 2:6 NKJV). “We were buried therefore with him through baptism unto death: that like as Christ was raised from the dead through the glory of the Father, so we also might walk in newness of life (Rom 6:4 ASV). “that the ordinance of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit ‘For they that are after the flesh mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit (Rom 8:4-5 ASV).

There Is Need for Warfare:

“Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses” (1 Tim 6:12 NKJV). “For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, ‘casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, ‘and being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled” (2 Corinth 10:3-6 NKJV). “No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier (2 Tim 2:4 NKJV)

There Is Need for The Race of Faith:

“Therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight, and the sin which so easily ensnares us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us,” (Heb 12:1 NKJV). “Know ye not that they that run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? Even so run; that ye may attain” (1 Corinth 9:24 ASV) “Therefore let us also, seeing we are compassed about with so great a cloud of witnesses, lay aside every weight, and the sin which doth so easily beset us, and let us run with patience the race that is set before us” (Heb 12:1 ASV). “And also if anyone competes in athletics, he is not crowned unless he competes according to the rules (2 Tim 2:5 NKJV)

There Is Need for A Victory:

“For whatsoever is begotten of God overcomes the world: and this is the victory that hath overcome the world, (even) our faith. ‘And who is he that overcomes the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God?” (1 John 5:4-5 ASV)

There Is Need for An Assurance of Immortality:

“And this is eternal life, that they may know You, the only true God, and Jesus Christ whom You have sent” (John 17:3 NKJV). “Yet (God) preserveth the mighty by his power: He riseth up that hath no assurance of life” (Job 24:22 ASV) “inasmuch as he hath appointed a day in which he will judge the world in righteousness by the man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead (Acts 17:31 ASV). ‘that their hearts may be comforted, they being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, that they may know the mystery of God, (even) Christ (Col 2:2 ASV). “ how that our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Spirit, and (in) much assurance ; even as ye know what manner of men we showed ourselves toward you for your sake” (1 Thess 1:5 ASV).
