WHEN TO READ THE BIBLE

WHEN TO READ THE BIBLE

READ THE BIBLE PRIVATELY:

8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. (Josh 1:8 NKJV)
2 But his delight is in the law of the LORD, And in His law he meditates day and night. 3 He shall be like a tree Planted by the rivers of water, That brings forth its fruit in its season, Whose leaf also shall not wither; And whatever he does shall prosper. (Ps 1:2-3 NKJV)

READ THE BIBLE IN THE CONGREGATION:

7 Then he took the Book of the Covenant and read in the hearing of the people. And they said, "All that the LORD has said we will do, and be obedient." (Ex 24:7 NKJV)
34 And afterward he read all the words of the law, the blessings and the cursings, according to all that is written in the Book of the Law (Josh 8:34 NKJV)
8 And Baruch the son of Neriah did according to all that Jeremiah the prophet commanded him, reading from the book the words of the LORD in the LORD's house (Jer 36:8 NKJV)
16 So He came to Nazareth, where He had been brought up. And as His custom was, He went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day, and stood up to read. (Luke 4:16 NKJV)
16 Now when this epistle is read among you, see that it is read also in the church of the Laodiceans, and that you likewise read the epistle from Laodicea. (Col 4:16 NKJV)
