FOLLOWERS ARE RESERVED – JOHN 17

Reserved in the Father’s Name John 17:1 - 11:

1 Jesus said these things; then, lifting his eyes to heaven, he said, Father, the time has now come; give glory to your Son, so that the Son may give glory to you: (John 12:23; 13:32 BBE)
2 Even as you gave him authority over all flesh, to give eternal life to all those whom you have given to him. (Dan 7:14; Matt 11:27; 28:18; John 3:35; 5:27; 6:37; 17:6, 9, 24; 1 Corinth 15:25,27; Philip 2:10; Heb 2:8 BBE)
3 And this is eternal life: to have knowledge of you, the only true God, and of him whom you have sent, even Jesus Christ. (Isa 53:11; Jer 9:24; John 3:34; 5:36-37; 6:29,57; 7:29; 10:36; 11:42; 1 Corinth 8:4; 1Th 1:9 BBE)
4 I have given you glory on the earth, having done all the work which you gave me to do. (John 4:34; 5:36; 9:3; 13:31; 14:13,31; 15:10; 19:30 BBE)
5 And now, Father, let me have glory with you, even that glory which I had with you before the world was. (Joh 1:1-2; 10:30; 14:9; Philip 2:6; Col 1:15,17; Heb 1:3,10 BBE)
6 I have given knowledge of your name to the men whom you gave me out of the world: yours they were, and you gave them to me, and they have kept your words. (Psa 22:22; John 6:37,39; 10:29; 15:19; 17:2,9,11,26 BBE)
7 Now it is clear to them that whatever you have given to me comes from you:
8 Because I have given them the words which you gave to me; and they have taken them to heart, and have certain knowledge that I came from you, and they have faith that you sent me.(John 8:28; 12:49; 14:10; 16:27,30; 17:25 BBE)
9 My prayer is for them: my prayer is not for the world, but for those whom you have given to me, because they are yours (1John 5:19 BBE)
10 (All mine are yours, and yours are mine) and I have glory in them. (Joh 16:15 BBE)
11 And now I will be no longer in the world, but they are in the world and I come to you. Holy Father, keep them in your name which you have given to me, so that they may be one even as we are one.(John 10:30; 13:1; 16:28; 17:21; 1 Peter 1:5; Jude 1:1 BBE) Now I am no longer in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to You. Holy Father, keep through Your name those whom You have given Me, that they may be one as We are (John 17:11 NKJV)

Reserved in Safety:

12 While I was with them I kept them safe in your name which you have given to me: I took care of them and not one of them has come to destruction, but only the son of destruction, so that the Writings might come true.(Ps 109:8; Joh 6:39,70; 10:28; 13:18; 18:9; Ac 1:20; Heb 2:13; 1Jo 2:19 BBE) “While I was with them in the world, I kept them in Your name. Those whom You gave Me I have kept; and none of them is lost except the son of perdition, that the Scripture might be fulfilled” (John 17:12 NKJV)

Reserved in Joyfulness:

“But now I come to You, and these things I speak in the world, that they may have My joy fulfilled in themselves” (John 17:13 NKJV). And now I come to you; and these things I say in the world so that they may have my joy complete in them. (John 17:13 BBE).

Reserved in Purity:

"I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will believe in Me through their word; 21 that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me” (John 17:20-21 NKJV) 19 And for them I make myself holy, so that they may be made truly holy. (1 Corinth 1:2,30; 1 Thess 4:7; Heb 10:10) “My prayer is not for them only, but for all who will have faith in me through their word; “May they all be one!
