THE BIBLE (GOD’S WORD) IS WRITTEN WITH A PURPOSE

THE BIBLE (GOD’S WORD) IS WRITTEN WITH A PURPOSE

  1. TO AUTHENTICATE THE DEITY OF JESUS CHRIST: AUTHENTICATE: 31 but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name. (John 20:31 NKJV)
  2. TO GIVE HOPE TO MEN: 4 For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope.(Rom 15:4 NKJV)
  3. TO RELATE TO HUMAN EXPERIENCE AS WARNING: 11 Now all these things happened to them as examples, and they were written for our admonition, upon whom the ends of the ages have come. (1 Cor 10:11 NKJV)
  4. TO GIVE KNOWLEDGE OF ETERNITY: 13 These things I have written to you who believe in the name of the Son of God, that you may know that you have eternal life, and that you may continue to believe in the name of the Son of God. (1 John 5:13 NKJV)
